This is my personal recollections of the coffee haunts I go to in Ballarat now and then.

Lekker
Every week end I always have breakfast at Lekker. During the week when working from home I take a break from the computer to have a coffee here as well. The atmosphere is simple and plain but the food and coffee are GREAT!. The staff are always friendly and remember your coffee preferance each time you return. I like that.

Known World
This is one of those quiet places you go to have a good coffe whilst surronded by an amazing "must have" collection of old books. Over a coffee or two you can browse through the shelves, read and or select a book or two while taking your time to relax. I first discovered this bookshop when they were called Bunninyong Books in Bunninyong then relocated to Sturt Street Ballarat.
Wandering around makes you feel like you are walking back in time. The decor is very mixed with a strong feeling of the 20's and 50's, not that I can remember back that far.
